Fire, Air, Water, Earth. Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony. Centuries of balance brought an era of peace and innovation. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could maintain this pact. No tyrant, no ringleader could escape the watchful gaze of the most powerful Avatar in recorded history. For two hundred thirty years, no one could dream to outlive her.
But the era of Avatar Kyoshi is rumored to be in its waning days.
A few days ago, Gaoling, one of the Earth Kingdom’s largest cities along the southern coast, was captured by a pirate fleet thought to be wiped out centuries ago calling themselves the Fifth Nation. In the Northern sea, spirit attacks of mysterious origin are only becoming more frequent. In the great Earth Kingdom Capital of Ba Sing Se, the Lower Ring can hardly accommodate more of the city's poorest, while the Upper Ring elite play corrupt games at the expense of governance. The Western Air Temple has gone mysteriously silent, closing their doors to outsiders even more than usual. The instability is not helped by the recent and suspicious death of Fire Lord Ozan, or by the tension between the Northern and Southern Water Tribes. A delicate web of alliances and treachery has formed, waiting for a tiny spark to set it aflame.
Spurred by the recent pirate attacks, Avatar Kyoshi has called a summit of leaders from all four nations to Ba Sing Se in order to diffuse the situations plaguing the world. The Fire Lord, Earth King, Chiefs of the Water Tribes, representatives from the Air Nomads, and the leader of the Fifth Nation will meet. Their decisions now, will shape the fate of the world.
Running January 23rd to February 1st, 2026, Avatar: Peace in Ba Sing Se is a 10-Day game of politics, intrigue, enlightenment, revenge, nature, technology, and family. It is based on the world of Avatar the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Written by Iselle Barrios, Wren Berlanga, Thomas Costa, Spencer Lane, Dominic Perno, Izzy Rose, and Yaniel Xu.
